The official attendance for Otakon 2018 has bounced back up from a slower year, Otakorp Inc. has announced. The final number, including all departments, is 29,293.
Naka-Kon 2012 has announced death/trance metal band Blood Stain Child will be performing at the convention. Naka-Kon is scheduled for this February in Overland Park, Kansas.
Setsucon has announced voice actor Kyle Hebert as a guest at their convention. The convention will take place January 28th and 29th in State College, Pennsylvania.
Anime-ZAP! 2012 has moved one week earlier, to January 7th and 8th and will be held at the Four Points Hotel in Downtown Peoria, Illinois. The change was necessary because the previous location will be closed for renovations through all of 2012.
Anime-SPARK! has announced Greg Wicker will present his legendary game shows and Aegis Academy of Swordsmanship will be giving lessons and demonstrations. The convention will be held this February in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
