Animation on Display announces fifth anniversary celebration and 2008 dates
San Francisco, CA - August 21, 2007 - Animation on Display (AOD), San Francisco's anime and cartoon convention, proudly celebrates its fifth year this year. As part of our Fifth Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, August 25th, the first 1000 paid attendees will each receive a raffle ticket good for door prizes including a Sony PSP Value Pack and a Nintendo DS Lite. There will also be a special exhibition of AOD memorabilia from past years in the Dealers' Room and refreshments for attendees.

In addition, AOD is pleased to announce that it has confirmed a date and venue for next year's event. AOD 2008 will take place at the Cathedral Hill Hotel in San Francisco on Saturday, February 16 and Sunday, February 17, offering animation fans an exciting weekend full of animation seminars, workshops, guest focus panels, video and costume contests, and much more! Attendees of AOD 2007 will have a unique opportunity to register for the event at a special $20 rate, while online registration opens to the public on September 1. Pre-registration after AOD 2007 will be $25.
