DC Anime Club seeking artist to participate in anime art show

The DC Anime Club, an organization whose purpose is to educate the Washington, DC community about East Asian culture through the art form known as Anime (Japanese animation) is looking for artist to participate in the 3rd Annual Anime Art Show which shall take place during the entire month of November 2007 at the Martin Luthur King,Jr Memorial Library 901 G St NW Washington,DC 20001 with a special Opening on November 10,2007. The Anime Art Show was founded by the DC Anime Club in order to promote Anime (Japanese Animation) as an art form.

Artist who are interested in participating in the Anime Art Show are asked to follow the guidelines below:

Art Show Rules and Regulations.

Artist who wish to have their art displayed during the Anime Art show must follow the Guidelines below:

NO ART WORK WILL BE SOLD AT THE ART SHOW! PERIOD!

DEADLINE FOR ART WORK IS OCTOBER 1,2007.

You must fill out the Registration form which can be found on the DC Anime Club Website at www.dcanimeclub.org or simply request a form by sending an e-mail DC Anime Club for a registration form at [email protected].

Those under the age of 18 must have parental consent for their art work to be displayed in the art show.

You must provide your own Frames and labels for your art work.

Labels must include your name and name of Art Work.

Artist may submit up to 3 pieces of Art Work for the Art Show.

You must provide a pre-paid package in order to get your art work back from the art show.

In other words provide us a way to get your art work back to you via mail.

Keep in mind that your art work will be HUNG.

Art work that will be accepted are:

Fan Art

Fan Made T-Shirts

Fan Made Plushies

Cosplay Props

Sketches

We the DC Anime Club reserv the right to veto any art work submitted for the Art Show.
