Anime Expo and Bandai Entertainment announce another guest

Eureka Seven Director Kyoda To Join Others as Official Guest of Honor

Anaheim, California (May 24, 2006) -- Anime Expo® 2006 (AX2006) and Bandai Entertainment Inc. announce the attendance of Tomoki Kyoda to the 15th year anniversary convention at the Anaheim Convention Center July 1-4, 2006. More information is available at http://www.anime-expo.org.

Born from Osaka, Mr. Kyoda initially started off as a graphic designer prior to joining an anime company. He made his directorial debut on the movie version of the TV series RAHXEPHON. His list of credits include such popular titles as Eureka Seven, Full Metal Panic!, Full Metal Alchemist and Rahxephon.

Mr. Kyoda's recent project is Bandai Entertainment's 50 episode anime epic Eureka Seven, produced by Studio Bones, who created smash hits like Cowboy Bebop and Full Metal Alchemist. It is currently airing on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. The series focuses on Renton, a young boy in a world where "lifting" (an extreme form of hoverboarding) is common. Renton's life is changed forever by a mysterious and beautiful young girl named Eureka. "Eureka Seven is Bandai Entertainment's new anime hit and it's a pleasure to have Kyoda-san join us at Anime Expo® to celebrate the series success," said Marketing Manager Sam Maseba.

Mr. Kyoda joins, previously announced, CLAMP, Seiji Mizushima, Vic Mignogna, Laura Bailey, Mick Takeuchi, and Yutaka Izubuchi as Anime Expo® 2006 official Guests of Honor.

Individuals can now register via online (www.anime-expo.org) for Anime Expo® 2006. All attendees that register prior to June 1, 2006 will be automatically placed into the 2nd Annual Pre-Registration Contest to win DVD's, Posters and other amazing prizes.
