News for Anime Crossroads 2010:

Anime Crossroads announces first round of guests

Indianapolis, IN, May 29, 2010 - Anime Crossroads is honored to announce that popular voice actor Troy Baker, David Williams of Sentai Filmworks and artist/writer team Bob and Emily DeJesus will be joining us as guests of honor for our 2010 show!

Troy Baker

Troy Baker is a multi-talented voice actor. His recent roles have included Yamato and Pain in Naruto, "Rose" Otoribashi in Bleach, Schniezel el Britannia in Code Geass and Abel Nightroad in Trinity Blood. Baker has also voiced such memorable characters such as Frank Archer in Fullmetal Alchemist, Nagi Springfield in Negima! Magic 101, and Alphonso in Gunslinger Girl. This Dallas-area native was originally the lead singer and guitarist for the band Tripp Fontaine.

David Williams

David Williams currently works for Sentai Filmworks, one of the fastest growing anime companies in the U.S. He was formerly an ADR Director for ADV Films as well as their DVD Producer and voice on the Internet. He has directed Angelic Layer, Pretear, Najica, the original Nuku Nuku OVAs, Dirty Pair, and many others. He's produced more DVDs than he can remember and had more skin grafts due to online flame wars than he wants to remember. His roots in the industry go deep, having been an anime fan since before there was an anime industry in the U.S. and with ADV from the beginning when his living room was used as a production facility for their first show, Devil Hunter Yohko.

Bob and Emily DeJesus

Robert is no stranger to the anime and manga community. An Indiana born, self-taught artist, who got his first art career break when he sent an eight page short story to comic publisher, Antarctic Press in February of 1990. He has drawn manga inspired art for well over 18 years and has been published nearly all over the world. He has worked for many companies like Playstation Magazine, Marvel, Hasbro, and now his most recent work with Harper Collins Publishing, just to name a few.

Robert and Emily met at a convention called Anime Central and haven't been apart since that day. Emily has always enjoyed manga and anime, but never thought it could be her job. Emily has worked with Robert for over 6 years now. She helps write the web comic "How to Loathe Drawing in the Manga Style" and has just finished writing her first children's book. She enjoys the business side of working for Studio Capsule very much and is grateful that she has an opportunity to work in the comics business.

Anime Crossroads seeks to encourage the growth of the anime, manga and related industries in Indianapolis and beyond. In addition to providing an event for fans and enthusiasts, Anime Crossroads hopes to become a medium for sharing and disseminating information within the community while celebrating the richness of the art form.

Anime Crossroads 2010 will be held September 24 - 26, 2010 at the Indianapolis Marriot East.
