Biography:
RO MARTÍNEZ BUENO IS A SPANISH COMIC ARTIST, WORKING EXCLUSIVELY WITH DC COMICS. HE IS THE CO-CREATOR AND ARTIST ON THE BEST SELLING SERIES BY DC BLACK LABEL THE NICE HOUSE ON THE LAKE, WRITTEN BY JAMES TYNION IV. In his long career as a cartoonist for the American comic market, he has also worked on other DC series such as the mythical Detective Comics, Justice League Dark, Batman & Robin Eternal, Aquaman, X-Men and, in addition, for the publishers Marvel Comic and Valiant Entertainment. In 2004, Álvaro Martínez Bueno (Torrelavega, 1982) graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca. He later began his artistic career in the field of advertising and storyboarding for commercials. During this time he worked for well known brands, including, Coca Cola, Vodafone, Orange, Ikea, McDonalds, El Corte Inglés, and the Community of Madrid, among others.
