Biography:
Ultima is a long-time cosplayer (since 2002!) with a love for sewing and cheap crafting hacks. When she's not digging through the bargain bins at Fabricland or buying her craft supplies at the dollar store she's planning out her next competition build and finding easy to learn, cost-effective techniques to share with the average kitchen table cosplayer. Ultima has won awards at the Master level, including a Best in Show, and has judged competitions at several conventions. She loves to compete and believes that you don't need expensive machines and materials to craft something incredible. As a primarily self-taught sewist, Ultima is a strong proponent of both sewing as a foundational life skill and open source information in the cosplay community. This is why she provides free tutorials and resources on her website and will gladly offer advice and feedback to anyone who asks!
