Biography:
Mikio Sakai is a composer and multi-instrumentalist who debuted as a solo artist in February 1994 under major label Toy's Factory. Since his debut, he has released dozens of singles and albums, including self-produced work. In 1999, while concurrently working as a solo artist, he began to collaborate with other musicians and artists, providing composition, lyrics, programming, and arrangement to numerous songs. Anime fans may recognize his work for Code Geass, Planetes, s-CRY-ed, or Mobile Suit Gundam 00. Recently, Mikio has been a panel judge for the Nippon Television singing audition program "Utasuta!!" and is currently the co-M.C. for the Anime Music TV Program "Anison Days".
