Biography:
Phil Ortiz is an American comic artist and animator. He was born to Spanish/Norwegian parents in California. His career in comics and animation spans over 30 years, in which he has been awarded five Emmy's, among others for his work on Jim Henson's 'Muppet Babies' animated series. He is the lead pencil artists of 'The Simpsons' comic book series by Matt Groening's Bongo Comics since 1993.

Phil Ortiz and his friend Phil Yeh travel regularly on the Two Phils Tour to talk about their experiences in comics and animation. Phil Ortiz lives in Lake Arrowhead, California.
