Biography:
Linda Young is an American voice actress best known for her work across Funimation entertainment including the portrayals of Frieza throughout the Dragon Ball franchise, Genkai in Yu Yu Hakusho, and Porlyusica in Fairy Tail.
Young has been heavily involved as a voice actor since 1988 when she voiced Arale Norimaki in Dragon Ball: Mystical Adventure. Young's versatility and sheer skill soon saw her appear as numerous other characters throughout the Dragon Ball franchise including Baba, Fasha, Piiza, and Frieza, the role that would solidify her popularity with fans.
Several installments within the Dragon Ball saga saw Frieza grow into the catalyst antagonist of the entire franchise, becoming one of the most memorable characters in the process. Young's ability to give life to such a character for so many years is a testament to her devotion to the industry.
An ever-growing portfolio has also seen Young voice characters in productions such as Attack on Titan, Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Fruits Basket, Michiko and Hatchin, One Piece, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
