Biography:
Escape the Clouds paints vivid steampunk stories through dramatic, energetic music and lyrics. Based out of Pensacola, FL and wielding a combination of world, industrial, and electronic sounds, he has crafted three albums and two EPs since 2009. Many of his tracks are distilled from ideas either historical or fictional-and often both.
Beyond music, his work includes nearly fifty fiction and non-fiction writing pieces in print. To compliment his songs, he's produced multiple original music videos entirely on his own, writing, filming, and editing them all from start to finish. A private pilot and aviation aficionado, his creations are largely inspired by the beauty of flight.
He is an active proponent of the global steampunk community. His work has been nominated four times for Steampunk Chronicle's Reader's Choice Awards, and he's had the pleasure of being a panelist at Atlanta's Dragon Con several years in a row.
