Biography:
Toshiyuki Kubooka was born at Hokkaido, and worked on many games and anime as character designer, animator, or director. His filmography includes such well-known titles as Gankutsuou, Genius Party (unit director of the Shanghai Dragon episode), or Batman: Gotham Knight (director of the Working Through Pain episode).
"Having come into a well-established franchise, I am undertaking the rather bold challenge of brushing up the Golden Age Arc with the greater realism towards which the original work has moved in recent years. Being careful not to lose the image of the original, I am aiming at an ever-more convincingly real performance and the construction of a new world. I hope everyone will enjoy this new 'Berserk'."
