Biography:
Alodia Gosiengfiao is a popular regional celebrity, model and artist well-known for her cosplay work in the past decade. She can be seen regularly on Animax (Astro Ch 715) in the Philippines as its 'Ani-Mate' TV personality and presenter. Being a prominent icon in the cosplay scene, she has been hailed as the "Cosplay Queen" because of her stunning costumes, popularity and contribution to bringing cosplay into the mainstream scene. Her work has not only captured the hearts of local fans but also those residing across the globe. Currently, she has over 1 million fans on Facebook and over 100,000 followers on Twitter.

She started cosplaying at the age of 15 and started judging cosplay competitions at the age of 18 and is regularly invited to judge in different local, regional and international cosplay conventions. Other than cosplay, Alodia is also an illustrator, gamer, blogger, pianist, toy photographer and collector and a BJD (ball-jointed doll) enthusiast. At the age of 21 she graduated in 2009 from Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Information Design Degree. From then on, still focusing on cosplay, she has successfully entered the showbiz scene working on different shows, movies, guest performances and events.
