Gaming Convention

Never before has the table-top gaming hobby in all its various forms enjoyed such popularity.

There are more venues at which to game than ever before. Yet, for many years now, Toronto has lacked a dedicated multi-day convention purely focused on table-top gaming. Breakout - Gaming Convention was conceived to provide a local space in which hundreds of fans of our hobby can gather together for three exciting days of board gaming and RPGs.

With more than ten years of experience in running quarterly boardgame events, the organizers of the Toronto Area Boardgaming Society (TABS) approached the organizers of the Toronto Area Gamers (TAG) Meetup group and the Toronto Role Players Association (TRPA) to bring this event to life. Under the banner of a joint gaming community, the first Breakout event was held in March 2016. Following the tremendous success of this inaugural event, the organizers of TABS and TAG have once again paired up to develop a great lineup of events for the 2017 convention. With prizes, tournaments and special guests planned along with all the table-top gaming you can pack in over three solid days, there's simply no better way to start out the March Break.
