AM2 adds more talent to the Summer Festival stage

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (May 4, 2011) - This summer's most anticipated anime, manga and music convention AM2 is proud to welcome "Video Games Live" artist Icarus Kid and super "kawaii" (cute) American J-Pop group the Ajuku Girls to perform on the Summer Festival stage this 4th of July weekend. The Icarus Kid blasts familiar NES melodies and has been featured with the acclaimed orchestral show "Video Games Live," won first place in the Seattle Laptop Battle, and his 8-bit roots have been turning heands in the video game composition industry. The music is often compared with Daft Punk, Crystal Castles and Aphex Twin.

Ajuku Girls are an American J-POP group of singers and actresses bursting onto the scene with the release of their single TOKYO DRIFT (by #1 Japanese pop producer PJ Blanco). These Harjuku heroines rock Japanese street fashion with JPOP moon boots, colored wigs and all out vibrance in a style all their own. The AJUKU GIRLS just complete Songs of Love with Tori Amos and Sara Barailles plus an appearance with Kung Fu Panda 2. Be on the lookout for their Kung Fu Panda promo coming soon!
